Funding Considerations

Important considerations for the Lloyd K. Johnson Foundation when reviewing all funding proposals will be:

• The Foundation desires to use its resources for projects that will be truly beneficial to the community; therefore proposals must demonstrate need as well as provide clear evaluative plans that will measure the projects effectiveness and community impact.
  
  
• The Foundation will seek to fund small, time-limited projects as well as larger projects from nonprofit organizations in order to best meet immediate needs, encourage innovation and assist nonprofit organizations towards their goals in serving the community.
  
  
• The Foundation will consider geographic distribution as well as its’ diverse areas of interest in making grant award decisions.
