Animal Allies Humane Society
Animal Allies Humane Society in Duluth Minnesota was recently awarded a grant from the Lloyd K. Johnson Foundation of $20,000 to assist with building a new animal shelter in Duluth. The new facility will provide a healthy, happy, temporary environment for animals while they wait to be adopted, increase adoptions by 200 – 300 animals a year, have space for adoption interviews, a medical exam room, areas for the animals to be walked and parking for the Animal Allies mobile spay-neuter clinic. The new animal shelter will allow many more area residents to enjoy the life and health enriching benefits of pet ownership.
