In a recent letter to the Board of the Foundation after graduating from college Casey stated that “the Lloyd K Johnson Scholarship kept me motivated to continue my education when I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do after high school. I feel that this is not only kept me on track, but also relieved a major stress of trying to find a way to pay for my education, This scholarship is well suited for students from Cook County because it gives them the chance to better themselves with education that may not otherwise present itself”.
The Board of Directors of the Foundation congratulates all the recipients of the Lloyd K Johnson Post-Secondary Scholarship and wishes them well as they pursue their goals!
